Multiplication muddles!

This week we have been learning our 9x table and answering tricky problems using our multiplication facts too! Can you help the Centurion achieve his mission?

1. The first part of the road needs to be 10 rows long, how many stones will you need?
2. You managed to build 100 rows in 1 day, how many stones did you use?

Challenge:
3. If you manage 100 rows a day for a whole week, how many stones do you use in total?

(Remember to number your answers so people know which question/s you are answering...)

  2. 1. I counted 9 10 times which gave me 90. 9 x 10 = 90. We could check if our answer is correct by using division, for example 90 divided by 10 = 9.
